Banana Bread

Catherine Tillson’s Recipe

Bake at 350° for 1 hour; muffins for 30 minutes

2 cups flour
2 tsps baking powder
½ tsp soda
3/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup chopped nuts
1 egg beaten
1/4 cup oil
1 cup mashed bananas
1 T lemon juice

  1. Mix dry ingredients together. Mix wet ingredients lightly and add to dry.

  2. Pour into 9x5 loaf pan and sprinkle with nuts.

  3. Bake at 350 for 1 hour. Cook muffins for about 30 minutes.
